Born in Schübelbach (SZ), Switzerland on September 23th, 1954.
Attends Primary- and Secundaryschool in the canton St. Gallen (Gossau, Oberbüren) and canton Zurich (Thalwil).
1970-75 Teacher-training in Küsnacht and Zurich.
1975-77 Works as a primary school teacher in Winterthur.
1977-83 studies church music in Lucerne, major subject organ (with Jakob Wittwer), A-Diploma and minor subject choral conducting, B-Diploma.
Further studies with Rudolf Scheidegger (Basel) and master-classes with Marie-Claire Alain, Montserrat Torrent.
1981-84 conductorship of the church choir in Wauwil-Egolzwil
1984-99 Church musician and music teacher for piano and organ in Hergiswil (NW)
1999-2009 Church musician in St. Josef, Schlieren (ZH): choral conducting, organ.
Organist at Jesuitenkirche and St. Paul in Lucerne.
2004-2009 additional employment as 2. organist in St. Sebastian, Wettingen (AG)
Successful organ concerts in Switzerland (Cathedral in Geneva, Kloster Engelberg), Germany, Paris, St. Petersburg, Moscow.
In Spring 2001 conducting a concert with the Schubert-Ensemble Freiburg im Br., performing three Bach cantatas.
1994 recording a CD including the 1. and 4. organ symphonie of Louis Vierne (Mottete 11891).
1997-2004 Holds courses about the history of church music in different places and gives a lecture on church musical themes in Lucerne („Gespräche über Musik“)
2009-2018 Church musician in the parish Zollikon-Zollikerberg-Zumikon (ZH).
